Haze, I wouldn’t go so far as to clean out Cloud Maiden’s litter box out for her… but you should consider adding some litter to that box. It should be easy enough to help yourself to some of hers next time around to even things out (after explaining why, of course!)
If you don’t have any more litter in the house, it’s as good as excuse as any to get yourself outside for a bit. And again, explain to her later why she has to buy the next bag!

Nothing much going on today, got up late, pottered around town this afternoon and tonight we’re off to meet friends for drinks. Tomorrow promises to be a day full of brambles 'cos I have to fill another bin full of stuff ready for the recycling collection on Tuesday. 'im indoors is alternately playing WoSW and swearing at his other computer 'cos it won’t do what it’s supposed to.

I woke up at 3:30 this morning and watched TV for about 30 minutes. I fell back asleep and woke up again at about 5:30, then 6:30. I finally gave up trying to sleep about 30 minutes ago. I feel wrung out though.

We were going to go out to breakfast today, but I asked my husband if we could just do it tomorrow. I really don’t feel like going anywhere. I know he’s disappointed, but it’ll be alright if we do it tomorrow.
Other than that, I’ve got nothing. I’m just not awake enough to comprehend things right now.

Quiet day - went to the Ritz Carlton for lunch - yummy but very filling. My good friend is moving to the Cayman Islands in 3 weeks!

Oh, I already cleaned the damn thing out and filled it with the last of my litter (which wasn’t much). I felt bad for the cat, and I didn’t want her to keep using Olive’s litter box. I’m much too good a roommate. 
Dotti, I’m sorry to hear your friend is moving away. I know how that feels - all my best friends are scattered all over the globe at this point.

Haze, if you’re ever super bored one day, you might want to check out the book Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin. It’s squarely in the chick lit genre, so I don’t know it you’d like that, but it’s about an attorney that just got out of school and is in love with her best friend’s boyfriend. It sounds more cheesy than it reads. It’s not bad actually. Anyway, some of the feelings you noted (the trying to stay away, the deals she makes with herself, the frustration, etc.) reminded me of the protagonist’s musings. Just a thought.

Roo, the Ritz isn’t really that exciting. It’s just that during Ramadamadingdong, only the 5-star hotels have a restaurant open during the day. Sounds posh, and admittedly, it wasn’t a cheap lunch (US$40 each, including tax, service charge and tip), but it was nice to leave Noor at home with hubby and get out with the girls for a couple of hours. I actually felt kinda guilty going out, ‘cause today is HRH’s 6-month birthday (Wow, time flies when you’re havin’ fun!), but you take your chances when they arise! Happy 6 Month Birthday, my darling daughter!!!
Ohh, and judging by the colour of Nooner’s fingers, I think maybe you should loosen those ropes (just a little!!!)
