Re: Rhyming words representing the character of the 4 bodily humors:
Sanguine = glad
Melancholy = sad
Bilious = mad
Phlegmatic = staid
I know it’s not a perfect rhyme (like moss-clad) but a lot of poetry readers will let you get away with a near-rhyme once in a while. So, for those of you working out your own humorous sonnets, I offer this alternative.

OK, I’m interested in checking out moriah’s link. Is there a conversion from old style?
Moriah, your link just goes to the main forums page.
Is the thread in question The Four Humors ?
Yeah, that’s gotta be it. She posted her link last year, before the great conversion, probably. Thanks!
I guess I’ll bop over to About This Place or whatever it’s called, and ask my question about converting old thread IDs.
RM Mentock, there is no conversion for uBB links. To find a thread, you would have to use the vBulletin Search feature.
Thanks Arnold. If I’d had a search feature on my own dim memory banks, I probably would have found that there, too.
