Huh…I watched a bit of Glee in season 1, 2 and 3 with an ex girlfriend, and I was confused because I could have sworn we have met them, but then I found out we just saw a picture of them:
So…I guess the actors sort of look like that picture?

Yeaaaa! I’ve championed BSM for her dad since I started watching the show- at least as early as April 2010 (my Tyler Perry comment was a joke) since it would actually make sense: he’s African-American but she really doesn’t know which dad is bio-dad.
What I don’t understand on the show is that as much trouble as Kurt went through her dads, presumably one of Lima’s few openly gay couples, didn’t step in to lend some shoulders. But, don’t look for plotholes with GLEE as you’ll have no time to do anything else.
