Glenn Beck is a carny, right?

Your terms seemed to indicate that you think the man is sincere, but using underhanded tactics to convince people. I no longer think this I think his actual beliefs are much less on the fringe, and that his insanity is all for show. Just like Stephen Colbert, except he doesn’t let his audience in on the joke.

My only other interpretation is that he was coached in that USA Today article, and is actually heading towards schizophrenia. His character has classic paranoid delusions. I mean, compare what he says in his chalkboard sessions to the schizo creeds we sometimes get here.

But I think that, if he were really that paranoid, he would need a lot of help getting through his show and life in general.

I almost laughed when I read that. The idea of GB being sincere is as likely to cross my mind as the idea that the check really is in the mail . . . no, better yet, it’s as likely as the idea that the Monty Hall Dilemma is anything other than Satan’s own handiwork. :smack: :smiley:
