1929-Adam Opel AG, based in Rüsselsheim, Germany, is acquired by GM and takes its place as a key member of the General Motors family.
Sounds fairly normal. Boy aquires assets in Germany. Nazis seize assets in Germany to help build up Wehrmacht. Boy strives mightily to defeat evils of Nazism. Boy allowed to reclaim smoking wreckage of asset on condition that he gets it patched up and economically productive ASAP.
