I’m referring to these clusters of gnats swirling around in specific locations. ISTR seeing somewhere that they have something to do with mating. Whatever the reason, I’ve observed that they seem to occur at regular locations. In particular I’ve noticed over a period of several years that there seems to always be one of these clusters in late afternoon at a particular spot in front of my neighbor’s house.
Why is this? IOW, what is it about these particular locations that attracts them?
