Pretty much a filler episode with nothing much going for it.
Rusty almost gets laid for the first time in more than 19 years. Oh so close.
Dean gets to see young girl boobies and screams!
Brock doesn’t get to kill anyone.
Meh.

Agreed on the meh. It was a weak episode. The boys are growing up some more though. Dean had the best of the few lines in the episode.
Somebody restrain bouv.
I thought the fight between Brock and Ginny was going to be more significant. On the other hand, Brock was actually enjoying it: “I got a REAL fight here!”
Who’d have thought that Jonas Venture was such a swingin’ cat? It was Bob and Carol and Ted and Horace. I think they keep putting Col. Gentleman in just for the fun of doing the voice. And was that Sammy Davis Jr. at the party?
Ginny: “She’s not a wereodile, you idiots, she’s an epileptic!”
Rusty: “… Ew.”
I’m not sure why Dr. Quymn was so pissed at the end …? Seems like most of the trouble was really the fault of her own bodyguard.
I did enjoy Hank’s look of sheer pain and humiliation at the end.
I think it was her bodyguard that she was pissed at.
What’s so “Ew” about epilepsy? Or was Rusty just being an ass about it?
I wonder what Dean will tell Trianna about Nancy and Drew. And their padding.
You have to ask?
Sort of a weak episode, although the girls were fun to listen to. I was expecting a payoff midway where Brock realizes Ginny’s a woman, since he’d been calling her a man at the beginning, but either I missed it or it never happened.
The best part was the stinger at the end with the two natives in wereodile costumes.
No, Brock just has an issue with manly women. Like his comments on Dr. Girlfriend (“I keep looking for the scars!”).
I’m surprised everyone thought this episode was weak. I thought it was fantastic. The seduction of Dean alone made this episode worthwhile
So, was Ginny supposed to be a parody of a specific character, other than being a butch misandrist? (Other than that I’m pretty sure I’ve met Ginny, at least a couple of times. She’s like the Clifton James or Pat Buttram of the northwest.)
Dr. Quymn’s Lara Croft backflip-climb onto the tree branch…ha. Silent, underplayed, and totally classic.
Actually I enjoyed it for what it was. Filler episode, true, but you can’t have every episode provide some great backstory or progress the characters forward. Sometimes you just have to have 22 minutes of jokes, sight gags, and creepy, kinda-hot (and possibly a little incestuous…?) twins. I mean, damn! Dean was like two minutes away from his first sexual encounter, which was a threesome with twins! Damn, talk about your average, non-screwed-up-from-being-taught-by-a-bed 16-year-old’s fantasy.
We did get to basically confirm what was hinted at in “The Doctor is Sin,” though. That the original Dr. Venture had “adult parties,” and it scarred Rusty (and Dr.Quym, it seems) for life. And in case anyone didn’t notice, Dr.Quym’s mum (the pink haired lady,) didn’t put her keys in the fishbowl, she covertly handed them right to Dr.Venture.
Your t-shirt. I thought it was going to be Dr.Quym’s logo (which really looked like nothing more than a pink version of Billy Quizboy’s logo,) but it’s Dean’s face.
How appropriate that Dean looks worried. If they do one of Hank, he’ll probably be smiling.
DavidW, in what way was Dean “seduced?” That’s not the word I’d have used.
No, Brock always knew that Ginny was a woman. It was Rusty (on the top of the car) who didn’t realize that.
Possibility that Rusty and Dr. Quynm are half siblings? Nahhh. I wondered if they didn’t look just a little alike, though.
This was my thought from the beginning. I assumed she figured it out and that’s why the Doc was troubled over Rusty’s advances. Never played out, though… at least not yet.
Honorary circumcision.
Just wanted to see that typed out.
Maybe it’s just poor memory, but it seemed to me there was a time when not every episode was about filling in back story info, and this episode harkened back to that time in my mind. I didn’t consider it filler at all – just an old-fashioned Venture Brothers with not much point other than fun interaction between the characters.
And as it happens, we got a little Rusty backstory anyway. I, for one, enjoyed the episode quite a bit.
Great episode. I just wish the shirt of the week said “Go Team Bobbies!”
Only if it was around a picture of that scene with Dean being held down on the table with the one girl holding his arm and the other girl sitting on top of him, with the tissues lying on Dean’s chest.
That would be hilarious.
