This is absolutely a great game. How can you not love it. How long can Clemens go?

All I know is he’s in his third inning now, and he pitched five innings on Thursday.
This reminds me of a Dukes game I saw as a kid. The game ran so long that the Dukes went through all their pitchers and one of the infielders (I want to say the first baseman) wound up pitching.
The radio guys are now saying that it’s the longest game in postseason history in terms of innings. Holy cats, we’re going to the bottom of the 18th. This is something else! I’m glad I don’t have a really strong attachment to either team - I have a couple friends who are hard core Astros fans and they’re both probably nervous wrecks right now.

Even funnier: Astros manager Phil Garner was going to put Clemens in right field and have Jason Lane pitch had it gone longer. Lane pitched in college.
