Is there any way this isn’t the greatest game in the world?
I just sent them an email asking them to do a Mac version as well; so far my responses from devs for that has been very positive.
Haven’t played it, but it looks amazing.
I was going to get Wolfenstein New Order, but now I’m not so sure…
Unless you can encounter a ‘bridge-builder’ named McReady I’m not playing.
It’s real? I first came across this game on April 1. I assumed it was a gag.
It’s a real gag game, yeah. Based on how high it has been on Steam sales list, it’s probably made quite a pile of cash for Coffeestain studios too.
I watched a couple of the play vids (is there a real name for that kind of thing now?) and the demon goat one was freaking awesome.
I got this game on April 1st this year and I was not satisfied with it. Your avatar is a goat, but the game does not permit you to engage in typical goat activities. You can not graze, or seek out sources of water, or fight other goats for dominance, or perform mating displays for female goats. The game also lacks a compelling narrative, life circumstances of the goat PC are never really explored. It is not clear if you’re playing as a farm, pet, feral or wild goat. I expected better from a game with the word simulator in its title. 3/10, would not recommend to a friend.
So is this what we were supposed to be doing with the SDMB goat all these years?
