I find it absolutely correct, because I have the knowledge of Vedanta. You may find it ridiculous now, because you havent spend any time reading Vedanta, So It is natural on ur part.
When you say “You slept well” You are acknolwedging the experience you had in deep sleep, but in deep sleep you are not conscious of youself, your body or mind, you may not even know what is your name or where you were. It is different from saying I am feeling refreshed, I had a good rest etc.
Atheists for the most part are open-minded to facts and evidence, and you have shown us nothing so far that makes your religion any “real” than any other religion, which was your claim when you first posted in this thread.
Nothing is impossible. This life is nothing short of a blossoming flow of zero-point peace. Self-actualization requires exploration.

No, I’m not. When I say “I slept well.”, I’m talking about feeling refreshed, etc. Glad to clear up your mistake!
I don’t want to debate anyone as smart you askthepizzaguy, but I do wonder how you came up with the fact that there is no hell? Must have been included in your reasoning’s that there is no God therefore it just seems to make sense to you that there is no hell, right?
Then the only assumption left is that man made up this place called hell. Do you have a name for this man or is this just a misconception passed along from century to century to keep God fearing men and women in line with man’s made up concept of a God?
This is a promise and a warning that you do not heed, but I do and many believe that if God be for you … then who can be against you.
- So it is your definition-the definition you accept to be true.
- Never assume what someone else does or does not know.
- Do not make the mistake that the only reason someone disagrees with what you say is because they do not understand what you are saying.
How do you know what he’s acknowledging, especially when he described what he meant and it’s totally different? Is it possible he was actually accurately describing what he meant when he says “I slept well”?
There is difference between feeling refreshed and sleeping well. Both are not one and same. Why you dont get the same feeling during sleep with dreams?
Are you reading his mind? Because otherwise, I don’t get how or why you’re trying to interpret what he means, especially considering he explains it precisely.
I did not assume anything, I just said a factual statement. You are trying hard to deny something without having basic knowledge on the subject. I bet you have not even made cursory reference to the Vedanta Philosophy, yet you are prejudiced enough to equate it with Theological religions.
Using this logic, if we cannot name the individual that first said that Apollo drives the sun across the sky we cannot say that he doesn’t.
“I don’t have religion-I have the Truth!”
Where have I heard that before?
But I often do.
And I would consider feeling refreshed when I wake to have been sleeping well, likewise losing the troubling pains of a previous day, etc. I’m not sure how else I would define “sleeping well” beyond, you know, seeing positive results of sleep.
First of all, I repeatedly pointed out that Sanatana Dharma cannot be confined to the narrow definition of religion. So there is no question of me claiming “my religion is real, other religions are false etc” I have even quoted from the Vedantic scriptures to point out how Vedanta completely rejects this notion of exclusivity. I am here to discuss the Philosophy of Vedanta and point out how it convincingly answers all the question which Abrahamic religions could not answer or seems illogical and unreasonable. If you find anything unreasonable or illogical you can point out.we can have healthy debate, But for you to point out, there needs to be elementary knowledge of the subject we discuss, right?
Truth is not the property of any individual or any race or any religion. Truth is Universal.
Look swami, we’ve never met and now all of a sudden you have a vendetta against me? Sheesh.
I am not reading his mind or anything. My point about dream and deep sleep in general not specific to individuals, Here “you” applies to everyone.
I am not a Swami. Just a follower of Sanatana Dharma. There is no place for vendetta in Vedanta, Because there is no second being to have vendetta against. Advaita means Non Dualism.
