I stumbled across these in googling - Pretty amusing stuff
Brad: So, what did you die of?
Interviewee: Leukemia.
Brad:Leukemia? Isn’t there a cure for that? (looks over at calender, looks back at interviewee sheepishly) Oh, that’s next year.
Comedy gold!
I love this! Where is it from? Or is it really just a Youtube release?
I stumbled across these a few days ago. They have potential but are still fairly clumsy in execution.
Episode three is up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Gx_EYv8JYI
Who Stole God’s Lunch?
I just found it today myself. I like it.
"What’re they doing?
Filing prayers. I don’t know why we even have this department. Nobody even looks at them."
And the sex harassment tape was great.
Hmm, dunno, the concept is good, but there are not many funny moments in the episodes. The only slightly funny thing in ep 3 was the shark that could walk on its finns.
I think it is a hate it or love it deal. It is a dry type of humor like the Office (more the original Office than U.S office). Very British. I personally like it and think it is better than the Original Office.
I love it! I like Austin and the new girl (red hair).
I like it. But it reminds me more of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Larry Sanders.
Tend to agree - but the concept was good enough to make me watch again…
I don’t hate it, and I liked the UK office. I just think they should think of funnier stuff. In episode 3, what was supposed to be funny? Someone taking gods lunch and making a new one? The angry secretary? The zinger about drinking less protein drinks?
They’re desperately in need of a gaffer, but it’s edited well.
I like it. Actually, I think it would make a really good television show, because it has a great premise, according to the creators:
“A comedy about life in the corporate offices of God. What if all the problems on earth were not caused by a spiteful deity, or karma, or fate, but just office politics and the Peter Principle?”
Of course it would immediately be considered blasphemous, and canceled, but I think it could be a funny half-hour show.
Well written. Badly acted.
That’s why it could never be on network TV (look at what happened to God, The Devil, and Bob and The book of Daniel.) Cable TV, on the other hand…
