I didn’t/don’t frequent those places, but I’d be a liar if I claimed I’d never been inside one.
Back in the early 1980s USAF briefly stationed me near Cocoa Beach FL. And being 22, my pals & I hit a nearby club a time or three.
I drove through that town about about 2-3 years ago, so ~35 years later. It occurred to me to look for the place along the main drag through town. It was still there in the same building doing business with the same name. I didn’t stop in this time, as my wife was with me. Though I did tell her the story.
Who’d have thunk that’d be possible? It certainly wasn’t part of any chain or franchise, yet 35 years later it was still going. Florida is special that way.
I was half-expecting this thread to be about a newly discovered Bach cantata.
Same dancers, too. 
Good bet the current dancers look a lot like the prior crop. Except with lots more tattoos. And probably browner on average.
And yet you knew of “The Tender Trap” on Koval, near Paradise, in Vegas.
Uh huh. 
And the Spearmint Rhino (gone), the Olympic Garden (gone), the Platinum Club (still there [Flamingo near Koval) as of last week when I drove past), and the especially sleazy joint on Rancho just north of US-95 which may or may not still be there and whose name I forget. And the big place near Jerry’s Nugget in NLV whose name I don’t recall either.
Having a good memory for geography and doing a lot of running around town can be a curse some time. 
Who says Spearmint Rhino is gone? Maybe one site you remember in Vegas is gone? Their web site is still up and live and has a copyright 2021 note at the bottom, so it seems to be current, and has a list of their locations.
I was referring to that particular outlet. Last I looked ~10 years ago they were the walmart of the industry with locations all over the world.
At least these people managed to start their event before being busted.
Since one of my male college friends was born in the late 70s?
