Lemme guess: it’s all Windows only, right?
Actually, there’s a good book written by Lee Jones (Winning Low Limit Hold’Em) that deals quite well with playing a “no fold-em hold’em” game. Unlike most of the poker books that teach how to play against other good player, Jones’ book describes a real-life game where pots are routinely going to be capped and most of the table will pay to see the flop. It’s helped me deal with that sort of game and avoid Pit-worthy meltdowns of this sort ;).
I do most of my play on PokerSchoolOnline. It’s $14.95 a month, but most of the players seem to play as if it’s for real and don’t go chasing miracle draws like most of the freeplay sites (used to be an ultimatebet.com member, but don’t really head back there anymore for that same reason). I use the same username if anyone else is on there and up for a game.
