Believe it or not, some guys actually prefer heavier women. More than Hollywood and Madiscon Avenue might have you believe. Being ‘pleasantly plump’ is not something you need to try and wrap up or conceal, and you might be surprised how much positive attention you get in figure-revealing outfits.
Apart from the fact that this isn’t a thread about judging the value of thin versus fat people, can I just say that ‘men’ all have different tastes - some like women of all sizes, some prefer thinner woman, some prefer fatter women, some prefer something in-between…and none of them is wrong.
This whole ‘a real man loves a real woman’ bullshit really needs to stop.
I apologize, I was not intending to be offensive; its a phrase I would hear sometimes. It was just a response to what Hector St. Clare was saying about some guys prefer heavier women.
A lot of people used to assume, especially 20 years ago, that men, boys whatever only liked one type of body. I didn’t find that to be the case, it was more of a media driven thing to me. I never really thought of the phrase as anything offensive - more along the lines of just saying different strokes for different folks, just kind of a fun phrase. I used to hear women say it as much as men too. The tone was meant to be more positive and affirming; the relevance being don’t just think in terms of hiding and concealing. But I can see how one might see it as offensive if taken literally.
