Hey Czarcasm, are you still coming? Did you get the Go Cards? Last I heard, there was a tentative idea to meet at the Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park. The summer Shakespeare festival is also going on at The Old Globe. This year it’s As You Like It and Richard III if anyone’s interested.
Unfortunately(as mentioned in another thread which should have been linked to this thread, dammitall), My Beloved, Rahne McCloud, was told that she had breast cancer. She went through the operation successfully, but she now has a few weeks of radiation therapy to go through, so we had to postpone our little vacation.
Oh, I’m very sorry to hear that. I wish Rahne a very speedy recovery, and I hope you’ll make it to San Diego someday soon!
oh Czarcasm, I’m so sorry…I do hope you both get through it all ok. Good news is that it’s generally treatable nowadays, but it’s still sucky, sucky news no matter what. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for strength for you both.
Well, they removed one cancer on purpose…and two others that they hadn’t found before. So far, so good.
