I’m going down to Florida for the summer and I’m not bringing my laptop. I don’t know if or when i’lll have access to a computer. I’ll miss being able to read the dope daily and miss seeing all the familiar posters. I’ll miss you guys and gals leave me a message here. 
Yeah, well you can just get righteously fucked off. It’s winter here, and it is seriously cold for this time of year. Hope you get sunstroke in Florida.

Right. Sweepstake! How long will pool last before not even all that sun, warmth etc. etc. stops the mad dash to some computer terminal somewhere to get that good ol’ SDMB fix?

And here I am in Florida, trying to fathom why anyone would come here during the summer months on purpose! It’s at least 90 degrees every day and muggy. Sometimes I get nauseated just walking from my office to the car and trying to breathe the steam that passes for air in these parts.
Amen! Give me some old-fashioned cool weather any day!
