As long as we’re sharing factoids:
Spain has a significant percentage of its citizens who are bigots and/or racists. Anti-Semitism is particularly popular.
And
53 percent believed that “American Jews” controlled the US’ middle east policy. (sound familiar?)
68 percent said that “Jews have too much power in international financial markets”. 53 percent said “Jews have too much power in the business world”. 60 percent said “Jews more loyal to Israel than [spain]” (sound familiar?). 60 percent said that, in general “Jews are more loyal to Israel than to the countries in which they live” (sound familiar?). And of course, it would be unwise to forget that in a statistical analysis of anti-Israel sentiments and anti-semitism, it was found that a significant percentage of Spaniards were Jew-haters, in fact setting the upper bound in the study as the most anti-semitic country surveyed, with more than 1 in 5 Spanish respondents being anti-semites. In addition, in the overall picture of the European nations surveyed (of which Spain was one), there was a better than 50 percent chance that, as anti-Israel sentiment grew more extreme, it was tied directly to anti-Jewish bigotry.
And of course, there are a slew of other problems. Such as various events and circumstances, summed up by Amando de Miguel as:

Of course, none of that changes the fact that Red actually had the chutzpah to support Spain’s period of colonialist butchery, slavery and plunder. Characteristically, he displays some interesting stupidity in that the Aztecs, the actual heart rippers were just one of the cultures that the Spanish imperialists savaged. After all, the Spanish colonialists also brutalized, among others, the Mayans, Incas, and a good few others. But really, slaughtering, enslaving and pillaging was in those dirty natives’ own best interests. They were just too filthy and savage to realize the grace of the Spanish boot on their throats. Silly natives.
But it’s okay to support the wholesale slaughter of men, women and children, because Red hates Israel.

These people all have bigger fish to fry than you gonzo. Your drive by links and cryptic posting style was really only worth about half a page and really I just wanted to vent and didn’t actually expect that many posts to join in. I figured most people would shrug, go meh, and move on to more interesting subjects than you.
Sadly I’m guessing you didn’t learn anything from this thread at all and we can all expect to enjoy more of your inane drive by links and one liner posts in the future.

So, you DO have a sense of humor. That’s actually surprising.
Everyone occasionally drops in a drive by gonzo…and I’m as lazy as anyone in these parts. The point is that a drive by is your normal post (with an inane and unexplained link tossed in that you expect others to dig through to try and figure out what your point may be, assuming you have one) you aren’t debating, just making noise.
I don’t know why it’s so hard for you to grasp that your posts bring nothing to any debate you are in because you don’t take the time to even attempt to develop an argument, to do even rudimentary research, or to quote relevant parts of whatever you are using as a cite to better illustrate your point. You obviously know how to use quote tags…yet you rarely, if ever use them to quote the parts of your cite you are attempting to draw attention to. You rarely if ever follow up with your own thoughts on why you think what you are citing is important or even relevant to the discussion. You rarely if ever make a fully fleshed out argument in a debate…simply drop in a few words and a link and expect people to figure out what the hell you are talking about or what your point is. I’ll tell you…most people probably simply scroll right by your posts without bothering to even click on your links because you make no points of your own, you bring nothing to the debate or the discussion that moves the debate forward.
Oh well…talking to the wall I expect. C’est la vie. At least you aren’t a Spaniard.
