Good cooking videos

I could watch people cooking all day long (as a kid, I’d watch the PBS shows with my Mother on the weekends). I stumbled upon a new channel late last week, and ended up watching for a good 3 hours (way past my bedtime)!

BBQ Pit Guys

That channel is truly food porn. I’m dying to try some of the recipes shown, but I lack a charcoal grill, but do have my trusty cast iron skillet.

Another great one is Foodwishes with Chef Jon. That guy really knows how to make a video (and I’ve tried his recipes, they are awesome).

Lastly, there’s Good Eats with Alton Brown on Youtube. I’ve also tried quite a few of his recipes, all with great success.

Can anyone recommend others? Some wok ones would be great.

This one touts itself as a typical Swedish meal, but I’m not sure what it was since the language flipped back and forth between English and Swedish.

Ummm…

I’m not sure if the link will work outside of Canada but if it does, you can click on TV Shows at the left and check out Chef at Home, Chef Michael’s Kitchen and Chuck’s Day Off.

Michael Smith and Chuck Hughes have probably done more to stoke my interest in cooking than anyone else.

I’ve recently gotten into Good Eats myself, following Brown’s guest appearance on Mythbusters. He was so likeable there I decided to give his show a try, even though I’m not normally into cooking shows. Both my husband and I are enjoying it, even though he’s less into cooking than I am.
