Now how about this one my friend?..Since it’s hard for me to contact that New York bank and I don’t know any how many legal hurdles we have to pass before we claim it supposing we capture that creature, why not settle this between the us? It seems to me that you like to wager because you posted $100. Do you happen to know any reptile collector or any human being who is willing to pay $10000 for a live hoop snake? A legal one, of course. What do you think?
–YEAH! THAT’S SO VERY TRUE my friend. But then you have to consider our situation here. I’m not a hunter, and we only contact people to hunt. Without reward, they won’t do anything. You know what, how I wish those people would have the same mind set as you are. But then they are way way older than me. And that was our deal. Again what you’re saying is really true, I know that. But you also have to know that I AM NOT A HUNTER, nor I’m going to participate the hoop snake hunt. Since I read about the reward and showed it to my friend and he is now bugging me about how to claim it suppose they capture one, I decided to help him. And it’s basically what I’m doing right now. After this, then my part is finished. I just have to wait for them to capture it. How long will it be til they capture it nobody knows. And it’s not the only thing in my mind, tell you. I have also other things to do.

Try those. The Greenhall Trust has absolutely nothing to do with your reward, however Arthur Greenhall worked with Ditmars. Maybe Arthur’s family can access records, etc that could give you a lead.
Really that’s about it. It would be up to you to convince them to bother assisting you.
–Sherlock, obviously you haven’t been reading my very first post I presume. This whole hoop snake hunt thing was started by me and my friend, or should I say it started by me. It goes like this:
I saw the information in the wikipedia about the reward for anyone who can provide the evidence for the hoop snake,
Then I showed this information to him
So he asked me if the reward is legit and on how to claim it supposing the snake is captured.
Without me knowing, he called his father and sister who also called the people they knew who had a knowledge on how to capture the hoop snake.
Came back many times on our house asking me how is it going on (did i confirm it already and how to claim it.
Showed me his father’s and sister’s message that hoop snakes really exist and asked me about the reward thing.
And that’s what I’m doing right now, I have to confirm the reward plus I also have to look for the contact.
also my friend gave me other option, I believe I posted it a while ago albeit between me and somebody. If in case I cannot contact any associates of Raymond Ditmars (the one who posted the reward) then I just have to look for other person/s who might be interested in giving the reward for hoop snake. Both are difficult tasks and I can feel it since yesterday…sigh:

I’ll guarantee you $10,000 if you send me an actual hoop snake. It has to be a snake that grabs the tip of its tail in its teeth, forms a hoop shape, and rolls down a hill. You got that, you got 10 grand. Remember, I offered the full $10,000 first, not some measly $100 while waiting for other investors, full amount on the barrel head.
Yes, I am serious. I have the money, but I have no concern about paying it out. Hoop snakes do not exist. No one who actually knows where a hoop snake is would wait for word on monetary compensation to go get one. To save time I may have to wrap this together in an omnibus reward for any of a hoop snake, jackelope, bigfoot, or a few other mythical creatures. So don’t sit around waiting, go get the snake.
