Some free downloads from Mp3.com. Don’t worry, it’s all authorized by the artist. They do ask for an email address, I used a fake one and it worked.

This is a friend from of mine from Olympia, Wa. It’s really beautiful. I loved it the first time I heard it. Nate works as a barista in a small coffee shop.
A friend of a friend, this guy is in a band with my cousin. IMHO there are better songs than the ones listed here on on his Shell Collection album. Karl does nothing to promote his music. He just doesn’t care. He is not in it for the dough and has never been on tour.

Other good stuff available here. I am friends with Phil from the Microphones.

Shameless promotion, I know, but I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t think it was truly good music worth sharing. Enjoy.

Upon further investigation I have learned that Nate Ashley has made a whopping $3.97 through Mp3.com’s “Pay Back the Artist” campaign.

I’m glad you posted this. I have a friend in Omaha that does some wonderful music. He has two cds out, but I’d like to see him get some national attention. I sincerly think he deserves it.

So if you’d kindly click on mp3s.com and give him a listen, I’d appreciate it.
