Okay, my girlfriend and I like things a little nasty sometimes. So I am trying to put together a compilation CD of good “F” music. Problem is, I own SO much music that it would be near impossible to go through it all to figure out what some good songs are. So I’m looking for your help.
Please note that I am not talking about music to “make love” by. Oh no, I mean music to “F” by. Some songs I already know will be on this CD:
Nine Inch Nails - F You Like An Animal (how could it not be on there, she loves this song - it’s a “classic”)
Powerman 5000 - When Worlds Collide
Things like that with a good strong beat, you know, for rhythym.
Well, I’m a fan of the classics, so I have to put my 2 cents in for “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye. I’d say some Lords of Acid like “Sit on my Face” if you want to get downright raunchy. There’s the Nine Inch Nails classic “Closer”. “Bad Touch” by the Bloodhound Gang if you’re feeling silly. There’s “Sex Tonight” by Gillette(?) that’s pretty good if you want to get techno-y. “Like Lovers” by Texas (from the Titan A.E. soundtrack) has a pretty nice beat. “Anything Goes” by Guns N Roses. Anything endorsed by Jay is good, so “Jungle Love” by Morris Day and the Time. “Battle Flag” by the Lo Fidelity All Stars might be fun. The cover of “You Spin Me Right Round” by Uranium 235 (that’s who I have as the artist).
“Sex Farm” by Spinal Tap is a must (well, maybe not, but it’d be funny). “The Heart’s Filthy Lesson” by David Bowie has a great bassline for that sort of thing. “Confusion [Pump Panel Reconstrucion Mix]” by New Order (the music from the vampire dance club in Blade). “The Birds They Do Fly” by Curve has a nice, slow, ease-into-it kinda rhythm.
Well, that’s more than enough, and I’m trying to keep myself from digging into my CD collection.
Some 80s hair band type music is great for this, so don’t laugh…
*“Rock Me Tonight” by Billy Squire (normally #2 on my list)
*“In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins
*“There’s No One Like You” by The Scorpions (almost tied for first)
*“Naughty Naughty” by John Parr (my personal favorite)
*“Here I Go Again” by Whitesnake
*Anything of the era by Bon Jovi or Pat Benatar, or maybe a Poison song or two!
I’m sure you wouldn’t be able to tell that I graduated in 1986. I’m also positive that I could think of more, but if these aren’t bitchin’ enough for ya, I doubt seriously if I could come up with better.

I prefer instrumentals when “grading papers” and my music of choice is the band “synergy”, it is classically influenced electronic rock performed by Larry Fast (widely known as Peter Gabriel’s keyboard player). As far as “fast and furious” music, I prefer early Ramones.
Any song by Alice in Chains, really.
“Low” by Cracker.
“Today” and “Cherub Rock” by Smashing Pumpkins.
You might find it odd, but “Possum Kingdom” by the Toadies does it for me too.
I didn’t see that on my search, but I just loked at it and it all seemed, well, not hard-core enough for what I want.
Lots of the suggestions here have been good though, thanks to everyone so far.
Like I said, I’m looking for hard-core, dripping with sweat, out-of-control, hair-pulling, grab-her-from-behind-in-the-kitchen, pressed up against the wall, athletic, animal sex. Nothing romantic about it (we do that too, but that would be another thread!) Classic rock, though I like it, just isn’t going to work here.
My thinking currently includes songs by some of these fine folks:
Rob Zombie
Alice in Chains
Disturbed
Korn
Lords of Acid (great song as suggested!)
Metallica
Motograter
NIN
Puddle of Mudd
Confusion remix (great!)
maybe Fischerspooner, not sure yet
gotta throw in the Bloodhound Gang for comic relief
ski, I think I strongly dislike you right now. You lucky, lucky so-and-so. At least you realize the degree of your good fortune. Good grief.
That said, when I think of classics, I think of classics. Have you considered some Straus? It’s not the most fast-paced in the world, but a lot of it is dramatic and slightly dark without being romantic at all. “Thus Spake Zarathustra” might be good for comic relief, if nothing else. Likewise, the 1812 overture, though that’s not Strauss.
Some Wagner would actually be pretty good for this - well, so long as you edited out the boring bits - but I’ll be damned if I’d want to get it on to music by an anti-semite shrugs Of course, people can appreciate the music even if they hate the man’s politics - your milleage may vary.
Oh! Carmina Buruna, Carl Orff’s symphony - if I ever get laid, I really really hope to do it to this music. You know how in a lot of movies, when there’s a dramatic fight scene, you get this same orchestral/choral bit that’s really dramatic sounding, in a foreign language, and they say “Oh fortuna” a lot? That’s just the first movement of this symphony, an invocation of the fates. Most of the symphony is, I’m told, about the joys of life and sex, and is fairly raunchy stuff.
And, if you should feel the need to go the romantic route - Miles Davis’ “Kind of Blue” album. Good stuff.
