Prince is always good. “Head”, “Sister”, “International Lover”, “Let’s Pretend We’re Married”, “Darling Nikki” (do what Tipper Gore was afraid you’d do when she heard that song), “If I Was Your Girlfriend” (combines woman-wooing crooning with kinky lyrics) “Strange Relationship” (“Baby I just can’t stand to see you happy / More than that, I hate to see you sad”) “When 2 R in Love” (“The speed of their hips / Can be faster than a runaway train”). But I think Prince’s real value in this situation is as the patron saint of kinky sex.
And I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Peter Gabriel’s Passion: Music from the Last Temptation of Christ is great sex music. The reason he called it “Passion” is because he couldn’t call it “Play This While You’re Fucking”.
Prince is a god, but the OP didn’t seem like he’d be into Prince.
