NIN’s Head Like a Hole is an interesting choice. Whenever I hear it in a stripper’s set I think that message is lost on most of the patrons.
Forgot to add my suggestions… I was too busy poking fun at Eve.
Anyway, Ozzy’s Desire would be good, as would his Tattooed Dancer.
Guns 'n Roses Welcome to the Jungle would work, too, I think.
Ice Cube’s You Can Do It (Put Your Ass Into It) has been a staple at some of the strip bar’s I’ve been, too. Dunno if you like rap, though. Montel Jordan’s This Is How We Do It is another one I’ve heard a lot. I’d think Lil’ Kim’s How Many Licks would be great for stripping to.
CheapBastid, I second NIN’s Head Like a Hole, and agree with the meaning alluding most people. I’ve seen dancers use Tina Turner’s Private Dancer in their sets, and that one is always lost on the patrons.
Just to clarify, I know the lyrics of Welcome To The Jungle… but man, that song is just so damn catchy.
“One of these things is not like the others…”
Do I get a prize if I circle it first?
Bruce Cockburn Sahara Gold click for the lyrics… soft, long slow and languerous, very sexy

If you want to make it easy on yourself, pick up American Made Music to Strip By , a remix album of Rob Zombie/White Zombie songs. The title doesn’t lie.
Alone in the Dark by John Hiatt? I don’t know from strippers, but that’s the song that Jamie Lee Curtis danced to in True Lies.
And the ones that get it just don’t care what the song is about…there’s a girl taking off her clothes!
Uh-huh!

I just have to poke fun at some of these suggestions. Crimson And Clover and The End just sound like awful ideas, as does Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
My favorite strip club moment was during the song Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson. I’m sure the weed and booze had something to do with it, but I’ll never forget it.
The song comes on so loud that I couldn’t hear myself screaming a question to my buddy who was sitting right next to me, so I gave up conversation and watched one of the girls dancing. She did the most erotic, undulating dance I’ve ever seen, and the overpowering bass and rhythms of the song combined perfectly with the vision of her that I sat in stunned rapture until the song ended and my buddy smacked my shoulder and asked “where did you go?”
I swear I actually felt that I had died and gone to hell, and that hell was indeed the place where all the interesting people were. Damn, I gotta get back to a strip joint; it’s been years now.
The Beautiful People is an excellent suggestion… I think Manson’s version of Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of These) would be pretty awesome, too.
Ah, another NIN one where the meaning is lost.
I don’t know, I saw a couple strippers dressed as Catholic school girls licking lolly-pops while Girls Just Want to Have Fun was playing. The crowd seemed to like that routine.
But I agree on … The End???
Former stripper here…
