Goodbye, sweetest kittycat.

{{{Emily}}}

Little critters have such a big impact on our lives, don’t they?

I’m sorry for your loss.

So deeply sorry for your loss <3

Thanks.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

We had to put down one of our cats and our dog in a short timespan near the holidays several years ago. I know what it’s like.

We lost 8-year-old Harvey to a sudden respiratory illness a few years ago. Even though Mrs. L.A. had rescued him when he was virtually a kitten and I only lived with him a couple of years, I took it quite hard. We have Tonka and Creamsicle now, and I dread the inevitable; so I make them as happy as possible. (Especially Tonka. He had a hard life.)

I feel for your loss.

Mourn. But when the time comes, please remember the shelters. When you adopt a cat, you save two lives.

Thanks.

Yes, we are thinking about adopting another cat, though not immediately.

You’ll know when you’re ready.

I’m so sorry for you. Losing a beloved pet always leaves a hole in our hearts.

I’m sorry, Emily. Sweet kitties seem the hardest to lose to me. Midget was a doll.

(Midget isn’t the cat’s name, it’s my own nickname on this board.)

Thanks, all. Much appreciated.

So sorry to hear this, EmilyG.

I had to do the same thing a couple months ago for our 19-year old tortoise calico.

I miss her presence.

MY thoughts are with you.

So sorry to hear you lost your little friend. I had to make that decision a few years ago on a visit to the vet. You know you are doing the best for them but it is hard.

I always remember his antics fondly. I am sure it will be the same for you. And when the new cat comes you will still have those memories.

My apologies. Coherent thought hasn’t been my forte of late.

Thanks, all.

So sorry for your loss. He was a beautiful boy and I’m sure he knew he was loved.

So sorry. It’s so hard to say goodbye to them even when you know you’re doing the right thing. And then you miss them like heck.

Thanks. Yes, I do miss him like crazy.
