Those were flameout posts, intended to get himself squished by TPTB to both protect him from himself and reinforce his self-claimed martyrdom. But I’m not seeing the hypocrisy.
I am sorry that you have chosen to make your entire experience, here, one of bitterness. Unfortunately, while there have been events that were legitimate causes of anger, most of your wrath has been based on your own misunderstandings or choices. For example, the poster who made a crack about your username was given a Warning. You chose to make it a personal public feud. Your claim that a poster accused you of being high on drugs was no such thing, simply being an allusion to a (pretty widely recognized) line from Animal House with no drug association. Your suspension did not occur after “no previous infractions,” but after you had racked up three Warnings in six weeks and had declared your intention to continue violating the rules because your righteous wrath demanded it.
Your choice to take stupid remarks as personal attacks is just that–your choice.

You think he has a delicate emotional state, but goad him anyway? I’ve never followed this particular poster, but I have paid attention to you. You are an arrogant, self-centered, self-righteous and usually wrong person (except you are usually correct on RCC dogma). That you would kick someone who you consider emotionally fragile is par for the course for you.
If you were a decent human being, you would wish him well. This probably isn’t the place for him, it is not conducive to people who expect fairness in the world or justice from people in positions of moderating.
As for the point that white people are racists. As a white person, I see no evidence that white people are not huge racists and a lot of evidence that they are. People in the US are racists. I suspect that is probably true everywhere, but I really don’t know. I know I have racist thoughts, I know other white people do because I hear them spoken regularly. Racism is a bad thing. Yet a vast swath of the US population is deeply, virulently racist and dishonest about it, trying to disenfranchise voters and striking down portions of the Voting Rights act stinks of deep seated racism.
Reparations for slavery is a daft idea. That doesn’t mean it is a daft discussion. Nobody alive in the US today was a slave, and the same can be said for the parents of everyone who is alive today. It was a long time ago. My grandfather and his siblings were treated no better than American slaves in Germany in the late 19th century. They were sold into apprenticeships and forced to work at a young age, fed poorly and beaten. Does that mean that Germany owes me money? Nope. If the descendents of slaves are owed money, are they all owed the same amount? Who pays it? Who is taxed for it? How do the claimants prove their claim? The color of their skin?

I really cannot see that the Dope is an evil pit of racism as portrayed in the OP, but I’m really NOT going to read the whole thing again. Plus, to be fair, I’m white and I’m foreign and not really qualified to judge.
Bloody hell, that was a long goodbye, though. I’m glad it was on a message board,* i.e*. in written form, because I do tend to hate it when people, leaving my house at the end of a visit, start a whole new BIG conversation at the door, while I want to go to bed, or go urgently to the bathroom.
While there did seem to be a somewhat excessive feeling of being picked upon and persecuted, I hope the OP finds a happier internet home.

Well, as a composer of posts often deemed TL;DR by many, and probably rightly so, I sat there and I read that entire thing, no skipping, no skimming, open mind, hat in hand.
Sounds like leaving will make you happier and more productive. But you’re wrong to blame all white people for the actions of a few. That’s the same attitude that’s put us all in this mess to begin with- not liking an entire race because you don’t like John down the street who happens to share that same skin color, because John’s a dick.
Gotta let that go. I live in a neighborhood where 90 percent of the persons are black and I’m a white guy. I deal with racism every day, some of it the strong variety, some of it the weak variety, some of it just leftover racial bias / overemphasis of race. There are racist jerks everywhere, there are people who are polite enough to keep it under wraps, there are people who don’t consider themselves racist but it’s still there, bubbling under the surface, and there are those who are fairly good people, but are surrounded by others who overemphasize the importance of race and racial politics, and therefore, have a bias toward race as well. The whole spectrum of race affecting one’s thinking.
I don’t believe you can find a person who is truly unaffected by the thinking. Even overcompensation to try to force a kind of equality is its own pernicious trap of a form of race-based bias, and not always healthy, kind, or productive.
But you’re not reading any of this anyway. You’ve said your farewells.
You’ve let the screwed up minority color your judgment of the whole, and allowed yourself to be defeated by racism.
That’s a tragedy. In my naivete, I believed things like sexism and racism and anti-gay sentiments would only evolve toward enlightenment, as was only logical and natural, and that once enlightened, people would never reverse and revert back to the neanderthal way of thinking.
It is a great shame, but if what you’re saying is true, you’ve proven me to be an optimistic fool. I thought I had become far too angry and cynical and jaded to ever fall into such a trap, but you’ve shown me otherwise.

Anytime a news story about any crime involving a person of color gets posted, you have to scroll and scroll and scroll to even find a comment that isn’t nauseatingly racist.
You can try to call them out on it, and downvote the posts, but there are just too many trolls assembled. The most racist comments consistently get more upvotes than downvotes. It’s just a troll convention, you can’t even shame them out.
I don’t have the time the slay that many trolls, and I think that’s the way most sane folks feel. It’s a lost cause. Try again another news article.
