Google Doodle Baseball Game - What is your best?

I am a bit hooked on the Google doodle baseball game today, it is addictive! So, what is your longest homerun and highest score?

My longest HR is 975 feet
High score = 32, but I expect that to change

I played twice just now. First time 27, second time 38. As for longest HR, I think something in the 600s. Don’t know how in the heck to get anything like 975. Oddly, the only pitch I have not been able to hit for an HR is that eephus (blooper) pitch. I just get singles or doubles out of it.

I got one HR up to 1,200 ft. The red hat pitch is the one to hit for a long distance.

Ah, there we go. I played 2 more. Game 3 I got a 900+ off a white hat, but game 4, I got a 1629 off a red hat. Got up to 40 runs, then got bored (only had one strike at that point.)

I connected on a red hat (super fast) pitch and hit it 1,985 ft! A third of a mile. Something tells me the physics engine is a bit off…

I like the fact that the 2 cherries count as 2 runs.

I’ve had strikes on 5 red-hat pitches, but the one I connected on went 2,376 ft. It never even dropped back into the frame after it left the bat.

Dammit, TroutMan, you raised the bar! Now I gotta play again…

2,266 feet. Close, but no cigar!

This game is too addictive!

My longest HR is 2562 (off the red hat pitch) and my highest score is 66. One thing I haven’t gotten is a triple. Has anyone?

I got just over 2,300, but that’s not the exciting part… I got an inside the park HR!

No triple yet.

Oh, is that why the hat changed color?

Seven hundred and something feet.

Yes, the hat color tells you what kind of pitch is coming. White is a normal pitch. Blue is the high one that drops. Purple is the moderately fast one that disappears. Green is the curlicue, yellow is the zigzag, and red is the really difficult fastball. (This is going off memory so correct me if I’m wrong.)

Also I hear it gets much more difficult after fifty runs, but I’m nowhere near that level.
