On Google today, there’s a cute image where the plain Google mark usually is (this is something they do from time to time). Today, it’s some kind of weird doodle. Check it out:

Literally. What in the world are they talking about? Anybody have a clue?

Are they putting up Christmas lights perhaps - that’s the surprise bit?
It looks like they’re doing an ongoing series of images. First the mouse comes out, then the cat hands him the plug. And the third has not been revealed, hence the question marks.
As the days go by, further images will be revealed, but my guess is that he’ll plug it in and the Google logo will light up like a Christmas tree.

Why a cat and a mouse though? Maybe the missing pic has the mouse’s tail protruding from the cat’s mouth, and blood dripping down its chin.
I don’t think there’ll be a “surprise” per se. Here are the doodles from past holidays:
I think you’re on to something. I saw those other doodle, but I didn’t realize that the “cartoons” were revealed over time.
I’ll have to keep an eye on it.
