Google Maps can tell you where to vote

Google Maps has a new feature:

Enter your address, and it will tell you where you are supposed to go to vote.

You can also get to this from the link for “customized voting info” at the top left of the main Google Maps page.

I tried both this and Pennsylvania’s official site, http://www.votespa.com/, and the Google Maps version is way better.

Cool idea! I see their example address is the White House. Poor Georgie has to walk 6 blocks to get to his polling place.

Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. You’d think Google would’ve covered California. At least it gives links to the official Cal SoS’s website. And a toll-free phone number to call. Of course, I know where I’m voting, so I’m good.
