Champions of the people? No. I was just pointing out that Big Oil is willing to engage with the public, directly, without even needing to hide behind shadowy groups. Of course they play the inside game too, but if freakin’ Big Oil is able to directly engage the public on issues while Democrats don’t, how can Democrats expect to get public support for anything?
