Gorgeous pet photos, totally mundane and pointless

Satine is one of my special heart dogs, and as promised, here are some of her photos:

These are some of the rest of the family members:

Our Joe spends a lot of time in that basket, between sessions ripping Mum and Dad’s leather sofa.

Sisters old cat who disappeared (possibly on an extended walkabout) over a year ago. Sister didn’t seem too upset

Our Kizzy beloved by all, very sad day when he was run over :frowning:

That’s one cute dog, kaiwik.

Good luck with the competition.

My favorite picture of one of my dogs. You’ll have to excuse the watermark, I was/am very proud of this picture and didn’t want it getting sniped.

Yay, a pet bragging thread!

I just took these the other day:

Weezer, the Wonder Dog
Okay, I showed you mine. Now you show me yours!

Maggie, the sweetest cat I have ever known. (And I’m rather proud of the picture.)

kaiwik – Satine is definitely adorable. Pardon my ignorance, but what breed is she?

Great photos to all…

here are a few of my favorites from a few poochies that have 'crossed the bridge". :frowning:

Princess Aiko…(yes that IS how her ears were thankyou very much…)

Aiko…RIP

Here is my Sky… status unknown, given to ex on divorce

Thanks for the comments on my pets…there are more, but I will save them for another time. (Not just more photos, more pets!)

twickster all of my dogs are Pomeranians. I am a hobby breeder with show (AKC Confirmation) aspirations. And I am getting very close to having a show hopeful!!!

Lovely pets all around, fur kids make a huge difference in my life, and obviously many of yours as well. Unconditional love and affection, hard to beat that with a stick!

Here is a picture of one of my “pets” the day he was born, never mind the glowing eye:

Our two boys:
Baby, who likes to beat the shite out of his little bother Jelly two minutes after we turn the lights out every single freakin’ night!

ThisSpaceForRent Princess Aiko had wonderful ears! As for Sky, I once had a husky/wolf hybrid who could have been her (his?) twin. Simply gorgeous. Please tell me that isn’t a scorpion…

Joey P such a nice photo, I understand not wanting it stolen, lots of that going on right now. Miniuature Schnauzer, correct? Beautiful!

romansperson Great photos, happy dogs. Greyhounds? Rescues?

yellowval Weezer is a fine looking dog, I don’t recognize the breed, is s/he mixed? Very healthy and alert looking dog!

All of the cats are gorgeous, and I will concede that Robot Arm’s photo of Maggie is one of the pretiest kitty photos I have ever seen. You might want to enter it to a calendar maker. (Browntrout?)

More photos please!!!

Aiko was a half Malamute half Mutt…we called here our Malamutt. Though if you do a search for a dog breed called “chinook” she is the spitting image…so i guess you could also call her a chinook-a-like.

In Skys’ photos that is a crawdad…aka crayfish, mudbug. they were abundant in our low lying field and she had a nack for searching them out on our nightly romps…

peace, love and more poochies…

Thank you for asking. He is indeed a handsome dog and reminds me of this fact daily. The people we got him from told us he was a pug/eskimo cross, if that’s possible. We say he’s a peskimo. He was just a pup when we got him and they were going to let him run free because they didn’t want him anymore. Like hell!

ThisSpaceForRent I am familiar with mudbugs, they can pinch, but thankfully no tail stingers! I love the black&silver/blue eyes combination, blue eyes are, sadly, a “fault” in my breed, unless one gets into the merle pattern, and there is so much controversy over merles in my breed, so I won’t have one. It surely makes for a striking look though!

samm what a pretty foal, glowing eyes or not! (one of my Pom photos has the demon eye thing going on too!) Interesting coloring, my limited horse knowledge wants to say dun, what is the proper color name, and do horses change color much from foaling until maturity? Pomeranian puppies look nothing at all like grown Poms, and their color isn’t set until they are a full four years old.

Daithi Lacha we have three cats, and while they occasionally get along, generally they ignore one another, but there are often hissing/spitting/slapping incidents as well. The big white male rules the roost, Izzabella just wants to be attended to by humans, and there is Angel, a very pretty kitty who was paralyzed twice by my daughter’s Min Pin. I took her away the second time, and she now lives a life of luxury, only going outside when the sun is warm and she wants a bit of fresh air. It’s a whopping +1F here this morning, and she is curled up in my daughter’s bed, keeping warm.

The more teenagers I raise, the more I love my pets!!! (Big squabble with the 13 year old son this morning, grrr!)

yellowval I thought I saw some pug in that face, and the ears are definietly spitz ears. It sounds as if you scored big time, and I bet he is a wonderful dog, very bright and active, yes?

Hi Kaiwik - Foal color can change a lot I think. I’m not very experienced with horse breeding. This colt was an accident. I bought the mother who was 25? years old and skin and bones in the fall and I “fattened” her up all winter and she surprisingly gave birth in the spring. It was pretty shocking to me! I thought my colt would turn grey like his mom but he’s 3 now and still dun. From what I understand “dun” is correct if they have a dorsal stripe, otherwise his coloring would be called buckskin.

Here is a picture for you of my friend’s two pom sisters, Olivia and Ruby, similar in color to Satine: http://groups.msn.com/ArabClassy/shoebox.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=44

I love her dogs. They are very “tough” big dogs in little bodies. Do most poms share that trait?

My favorite photo of Simon and Zoe.

Simon sleeping.

Simon sucking up (?)

Zoe sleeping.

Zoe pretends to be a comma.

It’s obvious who’s boss.

Curled up together.
