We’re giving my grandson some GameStop gift cards (what he wanted), but he only has a very old PlayStation.
We’re not asking for a gift, OKAY? We just can’t afford anything new.
Thanks and please PM me the price.

Just for the record, you’re looking for an Xbox 360, right? Because I do have an old Xbox (non-360) laying around collecting dust…
The cheapest 360 we found was $130.00 pre-owned, so if your XBox works, I’d sure like to buy it from ya’, and we’ll upgrade him when we can!
Thank you, Gozu Tashoya!

I don’t have a 360 to sell, but just a friendly warning: Most 360s you’re going to find for under a hundred bucks are going to be pretty old. And the old systems have a tendency to commit suicide.
I checked with my grandson’s dad, (he’s familiar with all kinds of stuff like that), and he says a regular Xbox upgraded from and working should be okay.
Anyway, I have a bunch of games which should work for him, so if it’s working and it isn’t too much (we can afford 75.00), please let me know.
Doesn’t matter if it doesn’t ship by Christmas, it can be a surprise “Santa” forgot about.
Thanks!
Quasi
Upgraded from what? You can’t upgrade an Xbox to an Xbox360, short of throwing one away and buying the other.
I just don’t want you to buy one thing thinking it’s the other. You can refurbed original XBox consoles for less than $75.00 on eBay, but I don’t think that’s what you or your grandson is really looking for.

Oops- where did the edit button go?
Test bump.
I know that. What I was saying was: A regular Xbox now and upgraded LATER (to a 360) will be fine
Thanks

OK cool, just looking out :). Sounds like Gozu might have one, but also I did see some full refurbed setups on eBay in your price range. PM me if you want any help evaluating the right deal.
I have an old xbox, the original kind, that I’d literally just give to you for free if you’re still looking and interested.
My boyfriend has a 360 that he never uses and might consider selling, if you’re interested in that I’ll talk to him. It’s in good working condition and barely has ever gotten any use.
We’d be interested if Quasi isn’t.
I’m not sure your grandson would be interested in an original Xbox. It’s a ten year old system which they stopped making games for six years ago. Add to that if he has any interest at all in online gaming, they shut down all the servers for the original Xbox quite some time ago.
Now some people would want an original Xbox, but these people are mainly collectors, I don’t know your grandson, but since you seem to be looking for a cheaper alternative to an Xbox360, I doubt this is the case here.
You also mention something about GameStop gift cards, but those would be utterly useless in conjunction with an original Xbox, as GameStop stopped carrying even used Xbox games long ago.
We were lucky enough to have a couple of people offer an original, so we’re gonna stay with that until i can upgrade him. We have some old games coming as well, so hopefully he can hang in for a few months. He will likely use his Gamestop gift card for some games for his old gamecube.
Thanks very much for replying!
