GOT season finale question (I haven't seen it yet)

The wife and I usually watch this in bed after the kids are asleep. But we have people coming over this Sunday night to watch the finale with us.

The kids (way too young for GOT) won’t be watching the show but I hate to banish them to another part of the house. How does the final episode rate for sex/nudity/gore?

I don’t remember nudity. Lots of gore, although probably not as intense as episode 9.

Can someone look at the episode description on HBO and see what it says? I’m afraid of spoilers.

IIRC there is zero sex/nudity, and just a single instance of graphic violence, and it’s a short scene and relatively mild.

There are probably 6 or 7 murders within the first minute, then Arya later.

A lot of violence, extremely disturbing gore even for grownups, although kids might not understand what is going on. I would keep them away from tonight’s episode.

So I replied to this comment to say please don’t give any spoilers…and now I can see a spoiler.

Why would you post that detail in a thread by a person who expressly says they have not seen the episode?

It’s not. He just worded his sentence poorly. It’s not what it looks it says.

It’s in a spoiler box. If you read anything in there you didn’t want to see it’s your own damn fault.

You’re misinterpreting what’s in the spoiler box. It’ll come clear after you watch the episode.

There is one scene involving Theon that will have all males viewing it extremely uncomfortable…and another related scene that doesn’t actually show anything, but implies very unpleasant things.

There is the usual level of relatively graphic violence, and another scene involving indignities inflicted upon a corpse that might be disturbing for young kids.

I don’t recall any nudity or sex in the episode–but I think I’d send young children to another part of the house for this one.
