March is up to it’s old tricks: In like a lamb and out like a lion.
March came in with very little snow on the ground. First week had temperatures in the teens (celcius). Only visible snow was the piles that take a little longer to melt. I remember thinking - yeah, spring will arrive sooner since there isn’t much to melt.
Then bamb - 12 cm in one night. Driving was a bitch. Snowed on and off for the next two days. And now, we’re back to not much snow on the ground.
Strangest winter yet. The Farmers Almanac(sp?) stated that we would have a lot of snow this winter with somewhat milder temps (average for us is -25 celcius during Jan and Feb.
Ha - I always said it was hooey. So the rest of March is anyone’s guess. All’s I know is that I’m sick sick sick of winter and can’t wait until spring.
