He allegedly held education reform meetings behind closed doors, in violation of Maine’s freedom of access laws. I am glad he is finally seeing consequences for his actions. Lepage has done many things that are outright illegal during his term in office.
He is now spending more of taxpayers money on a lawyer to figh this case than if he had just paid the fine. Who started the myth that republicans are fiscally responsible and against big government? Lepage is all about nanny-statism and bureaucratic nightmares.
When will people like him and trump learn to take responsibility for their actions?

The education commision has decided to pay the $500 and put this issue to rest. I am glad to see Lepage is no longer wasting more tax money on a lawyer than if he had just paid the fine.
