As far as the idea that Goyim would be slaves to the Jews after the Messiah comes is something I’ve never heard before, goes completely contrary to basic Jewish teaching, and sounds like a looney fringe idea. You’d think it would have come up in all the anti-Semetic screeds we’ve heard here, but I don’t think it’s ever come up before. The fact that you found it on a random Youtube video doesn’t give it much stature. I’m pretty sure it’s not a popular belief.

Jewish people, being human beings, are individuals. There are some capitalist Jews. There are some communist Jews. There a lot of Jews who don’t give a damn and just try to get by in whatever system they find themselves.
“The Jews”, as a collective, are not massively anything. They’re rather famous, in fact, for having multiple opinions. If you get two Jews together on a subject you’ll have at least three opinions. So trying to categorize them in the manner you are attempting is futile because you’ll never get all the Jews in the world to agree on anything.

When I was a boy it was before women’s rights, the Jewish were still segregated in an undeniable way, you could disparage the Chinese, blacks, the Polish and call them names right in the street and get away with it. What about the workers? They were downtrodden. This was in Montreal.

Anyway. I mainly remember my parents who escaped both the Nazis and the communists. They never went back.
They represented an idealized pre-war Poland with the idyllic Marshall Piłsudski and others like Ignacy Paderewski.
My mother used to say that Poles & Jews lived in harmony. When the Jews became segregated at school she was crestfallen.

From about 1000 AD Poland was one of the most Jew-tolerant nations in Europe, and as a result a lot of Jews moved there. By the time of the 1600’s three quarters of all the Jews probably lived in Poland.
And then things went downhill… with the rise of Protestantism religious tolerance in Europe went down. Even so, by the post-WWI period, the 1920’s and 30’s, Poland was the heart of Jewish culture in Europe and at 3 million or so the Polish Jews were still one of the largest, if not THE largest, Jewish community in the world. Yes, by and large, Poles and Jews got along pretty well. It wasn’t paradise, but they did get along. That’s why significant numbers of Poles tried to protect and help their Jewish neighbors during the Holocaust.
When the Nazis rolled into Poland they not only brutally suppressed everyone in Poland, they also deliberately sowed mistrust between any and all societal divisions, including the Christian/Jewish divide. 1/5 of Poland died. Poland is still healing from those scars, and from the scars left by the USSR domination for most of the rest of the 20th Century.

I don’t know what you’re so upset about. The OP may not be in the best of mental health but everyone who has responded so far has done so with due respect and restraint. Even the OP, despite his self-acknowledged ignorance on the subject, has thanked everyone for correcting his misunderstanding. The OP might be slightly embarrassed but he seems to be self aware enough to take it in stride. He deserves credit for that.

I followed the wrong leads about Jewish history and tradition plus religious practice.
However, I’ve got a tiny feeling that your opinions which are more enlightened may represent the formidable American propaganda we’re so accustomed to.
One notable Polish priest, philosopher and author said in a book called sto zabobonów one hundred superstitions that democracy being a good system it was still only a superstition.
There were many types of democracies for example. I suppose that the word superstition for Józef Bocheński meant bullshit.

I have a friend Myriam who was asked to leave a convent where she was postulating for three years as a nun. The reason? She had a too overflowing nature.

I think it is safe to say all over Europe and even the world people are keeping some family secrets about what their ancestors did during the war. Nobody wants to admit they or their ancestors committed an did anything wrong.
