It sits opposite, and compliments my copy of “The Complete Front Pages” from The New York Times.
A Coffee Table book that chronicles the History of the NYT, with Pages of Front Page reprints. DVD-rom is included for EVERY Front page the NYT ever printed. As I got the Book in 2008, it obviously doesn’t have 2009 or 2010 in the physical pages of the book.
I tried doing this with Freud’s Introductory Lectures on Psycho-Analysis, but in the copy I have, the 111th page only has 10 sentences (he uses a lot of semicolons and is a windbag). So, I then reached for the next closest book, which was José Saramago’s Seeing. The 111th page only had 8 sentences, as he uses commas in place of periods throughout many of his dialogue sentences. I will try again some other time.
