The Work and Witness of W. R. Morrison, B.A., B.D. 1879-1965, a vanity published biography by my great-aunt of my missionary great-grandfather.

That sentence should get it flying off the shelves.

“This program estimates his current belt size by projecting the trend observed during his public performances.”

Dalgliesh said calmly: “But the investigation of murder — if this is murder — takes precedence.”

Because the book is 100 Selected Poems by e.e. cummings, there are few complete sentences, and certainly not 11.

The 11th line of the poem on that page, though is:

That is all of the Text on page 111, as the rest of the page takes up the one panel comic of the “Teenie Weenies” boiling an egg.

The Comics – The Complete Collection
By Brian Walker

A Coffee Table book that chronicles the history of Comic strips, as seen in Newspapers.

It sits opposite, and compliments my copy of “The Complete Front Pages” from The New York Times.

A Coffee Table book that chronicles the History of the NYT, with Pages of Front Page reprints. DVD-rom is included for EVERY Front page the NYT ever printed. As I got the Book in 2008, it obviously doesn’t have 2009 or 2010 in the physical pages of the book.

Reprint from the front page of the New York Evening Telegram dated April 14, 1911 in Baseball Uniforms of the 20th Century by Marc Okkonen.

I tried doing this with Freud’s Introductory Lectures on Psycho-Analysis, but in the copy I have, the 111th page only has 10 sentences (he uses a lot of semicolons and is a windbag). So, I then reached for the next closest book, which was José Saramago’s Seeing. The 111th page only had 8 sentences, as he uses commas in place of periods throughout many of his dialogue sentences. I will try again some other time.
