Grad school update

So a few days ago I HALF filled out a profile on gradschools.com.

As of today i’ve got 3 schools who are sending my loads of info and one of which is trying to get my work number so they can call me!

WHOOOOOT!

2100 GRE scores ROCK

Don’t they though?
Seriously - be prepared to work harder than you’ve ever worked at school before - no matter what school you end up at. I ended up at one that I considered a “safety” as an undergrad, and the graduate classes are wearing me out.

But it’s sooooooo much fun too. And it has to get easier (or at least I have to get used to it) after this first semester.

YAY!!

Good job, CR

I just got back from Carleton’s “Family Reunion,” which confirmed:

I don’t know of a single Carl who has worked harder in grad school than they did at Carleton - with the possible exception of med students, and that really only starts in residency. Sure, there are always rough patches, but worse than comps? Worse than falling a week behind, when a course has only nine weeks but covers a semester?

You’ll be fine. Really.

Niiiiice! I’ll have to check that site out. I’m taking the GRE Thursday to start applying to Ph.D programs. Here’s hoping I can do as well!
