WTH have they been doing the past 30 years? I remember stories back in the 80’s about Superfly killing his gf. I thought it was just rumors.
That autopsy report is very bad. It seems incredible he wasn’t charged 30 years ago.
It does seem pretty incredible. There must be some reason why they thought they didn’t have enough to move forward. That article does not go into much detail. Here is an interview in which he talks about it.
I was looking up random things online not a week ago and came across an old write up of this story. I’d never heard the story before. I’m interested to see how it all shakes out.
It certainly doesn’t look good for him but we will have to see.
I have concerns about pursuing any case this old. Getting a fair trial after thirty years won’t be easy. The motel has been torn down and replaced by a Home Depot. DNA evidence wasn’t collected by todays strict standards.
The Statute of Limitations exists because it is so hard to fairly prosecute and defend an old case. I know it doesn’t apply to homicide cases. But 30 year old memories aren’t that reliable for court testimony. I’m a little uneasy about Snuka’s ability to mount an adequate defense.
Snuka is as dumb as a bag of hammers. Its amazing he could talk his way out of a parking ticket let alone a murder rap. But after 30 years his (lawyer’s) ability to mount an effective defense is much better if anything. The problems you mention are going to make things difficult for the prosecution, not the defense. The defense doesn’t need to mount any defense. The time delay alone may be enough for reasonable doubt.
This is an example of why you should ALWAYS demand to talk with your attorney when you are questioned by the police. The main thing which is going to put most people in prison is that hole underneath their nose and what comes out of it.

I don’t think being questioned by the police was his biggest problem. He’s done multiple interviews about it and put it in his book. He can’t stop talking about it.
So odd that a couple days ago I was just watching the “shoot” interview Raven and Honky Tonk Man did, and the Snuka incident came up. Neither of them thought Snuka did it. HTM said the girl committed suicide by jumping from a 10-story-building.
