Okay, so finally someone else has realised that Cyclops is a big man-whore. He’s always been bouncing around from gal pal to gal pal for years, and then it was shelved for a while. Wether ith was Colleen Wing, Jean, Madelyne, Lee Forrester, Phoenix, Psylocke, or now, Emma Frost, he’s always been a man on the move.
But Morrison has been pushing to the forefront of his run, and in his newest issue, at one point, Emma is wearing the dark Phoenix costume and saying “Let’s play superheroes and heroines. I’ll be Jean and you be Scott.” The visual alone was disturbing, the costume filled out by the blonde Emma, but coupled with the words, mm.
Now people will try and argue that she’s trying to seduce poor helpless Cyclops, and he was backed into that corner against his will, but I think he’s been doing this sort of thing for years now, and knew exactly what was gonna happen before it got to that point. As to if anything will actualy happen between them, that is inconsequential, as I think he toes with women, Jean included, just for kicks.
