I know a lot of people thought he was a clever sock or hated him, but I had a certain fondness for START. If he was a real person he seemed like a fundamentally good kid.
I miss Persephone too. Just thinking of her makes me sad, because I always think of how much she loved her kids.
I’ll second Fenris - the man was a genius storyteller. He could have posted about the manufacture of pencil lead and made it interesting (and probably would have had my sides aching by the end).

Lotsa unanswered questions there…
I think the original is archived, but this gives you the flavor.
What happened to all these people, were they banned? Did they quit? If they did, did they say why?
Here you go
I have it bookmarked
More than a few hurt feelings, there.
Some were banned, and others left over a board flap involving a banned poster and certain information about him that was made public. A few also left because they weren’t interested in paying when the board went to subscription.
I miss Rue DDay (but I obviously can’t spell his username). I loved reading his MPSIMS threads.
Collounsbury
Fenris
Some banned, some just left; at least one deceased. Probably better not to rehash at least the bannings here.
I miss Roger Thornhill. Sometimes I see a thread and wonder what Roger would have said, if he were still here.
Sorry all for having dredged up hurt feelings and unanswered questions.
The Grapist.
And his “friend” raisinbread.
Rue DeDay went from being a stay-at-home dad to a working drone, so his internet time sorta fizzled. I see him occasionally on Live Journal, but he’s not nearly as prolific as he used to be.
What happened to Eve?
After some digging, I find that Eve hasn’t posted since January, but the most recent activity on the account is 45 minutes ago.
see my sig
And SentientMeat has posted to a couple of threads within the last 10 days.
You’d think that as long as we go to the trouble of missing them, some of these dear departed posters would respect that by actually leaving! Sheesh!
