I can think of two truly great ones:
The first was at a drive-in when I was in high school (early '70s) – MASH and Patton.
The second was a serendipitous pair of rentals – Sid and Nancy and Sunset Blvd..
What’s the best double feature you’ve ever seen?
I caught Brave New World andSleeper back to back at a SF conference once. It was hysterical. After Huxleys doom and gloom** Sleeper** literally put everyone on the floor.
it was also about 1 am… we’d been conferencing all day… take about punch drunk!
I remember a marquee for a double screen theater a few years back:
WHAT WOMEN WANT
SNATCH
Chinatown and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
I went to see Star Trek II and III once at a cheap theater. Admission was a dollar.
