The recently posted video for the Neverwinter MMO was pretty good, and gave me the idea for this thread. Far Cry 3 is another great example. The Dead Island launch trailer was widely held to be much better than the game. Which ones have you liked?
All of the movies associated with the most recent Star Wars MMO were unbelievably good. Like, “please make a full-length movie and take my money” good.

Wait wait, are we trying to talk about “Gee, look at this shiny CGI rendered thing” or are we trying to talk about awesome trailers? 
Because if the former, meh, whatever, every AAA release that comes out these days has a shiny CGI rendered thing.
If we’re talking about the latter, this is a brilliant trailer.
…I had never considered buying a game based entirely on a single trailer before: until now. And only ten bucks on steam? What a bargain!
Sold me a copy. And I’m enjoying it. 
The best one was Dead Island. From what I heard the game itself was so-so, but the trainer at least made me take notice of the game.
I’m looking into picking this up as well.
Heh. That is funny. IM(h)O both the Far Cry 3 and Dead Island trailers are a lot more than just ‘Shiny CGI rendered things’. And I wouldn’t mind looking at some shiny if it’s as entertaining as the Neverwinter trailer.
I thought Deus Ex: Human Revolution had an amazing trailer.
When I first saw the trailer for the first Assassin’s Creed game I was totally in awe. I remember thinking “That can’t possibly be a real game; how in the world could you have that kind of control over a video game character?” but I was obviously quite wrong.
The trailer for the second game was stunning as well.
Lost Odyssey television commercial. Sold the game for me, easily. Fantastic use of a great song as well.
