have no idea if it’s true, but that great source “US” magazine says Kim Kardashian " “Doesn’t Qualify” For a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star". As we all now, almost any of us could qualifty for one of those publicity gimmick stars. But for the walk of fame organization to keep a wee bit of integrity & not give this broad a star - well, it gives me some hope for humanity.

Huh? Julianne Moore just got her star this month. Julianne Moore, who has been a huge movie star for 15+ years, with multiple leading roles in popular and/or critically acclaimed movies, multiple Oscar nominations, etc. Even given that it’s just a publicity gimmick with no set criteria, if Julianne Moore just got one now, why on earth would anybody even consider that Kim Kardashian might qualify?
If this gives you hope for humanity, then you have mighty low standards, my friend.
Because the stars are awarded by a private organization whose primary criterion is someone ponying up the money for the star, its placement and the dedication ceremony. It’s an award about in a class with a WORLD’S GREATEST DAD coffee cup. It is heartening that a talentless, useless SELLebrity doesn’t qualify, though.
And the fact that Kanye West claims she should have one is further evidence that he should shut the fuck up and go crawl away into the douchebag-hole he slithered out from.

I am probably the only person on this board who likes Kim Kardashian (and Paris Hilton). Also one of the very few males over 14 who has never had sex with either them. Why I like them is probably their obvious pursuit of fame and money is refreshing honest. Much like Henry Higgins in “My Fair Lady” nominated Alfred P Doolittle as the most original philosopher in England.
Who gets a Hollywood star means even less to me than not-worth-my-time awards ike Oscars or Grammies. But like it or not, “Keeping up with the Kardashian-Jenner Trash” has been a popular show for eight years, with several spinoffs of members of this family who regrettably have never heard of zero population growth. Isn’t that worth a star? A morals clause? Please. As P J O’Rourke once noted, if you call anyone in Hollywood a drunk, addict or sex fiend, all that proves is you read their autobiography.
This might be the very reason that KK doesn’t “qualify”. Did the article go into detail? Do we know that “integrity” had anything to do with it?

Kim Kardashian has nice breasts. That is enough to get you lots of money, a TV show, and god knows what other stuff she’s into… All because of her looks and her ability to date famous people. I honestly don’t know what her claim to fame is, unlike Paris Hilton, who is from a very wealthy family and has incredible sex appeal (to me, anyway).
And Julianne Moore not having a star until now actually doesn’t surprise me. She is one of the worst actresses of her generation.
Good lord, i hope not. I’ll throw in a few bucks. She should get one for her performance on that sex video. She is probably the one woman I’d ask to have sex with if I found a magic lamp and a genie. I find her incredibly appealing. And I don’t think she is as dumb as she acts. And even if she is, who cares? She is rich, so I could work with that! 
Would this not be a defecation ceremony? Has Justin Bieber come out of the closet yet? I’m sure that his handlers wouldn’t want him to do that until all of those teenage girls stop swooning on him. Personally, i don’t care, but i will be curious to see how long it takes for him to show up in People Magazine.
Seriously, what IS Kim K.'s claim to fame? Was she someone that people knew before she popped out of nowhere, or was she just in the right place at the right time? And the fact that she has a sister or two that is also good looking just provided her the winning lottery ticket she seems to have? I never did understand how she burst onto the scene and became a household name.
Her father was a longtime friend of OJ Simpson and an attorney on his Dream Team, and her step-father was/is Bruce Jenner, and the second sentence of her wiki tells me that she first gained notoriety through her friendship with Paris Hilton.
Not that I really care one way or the other, but an article I read said that the group who awards the stars is dismissing the possibility of her getting a star because they’re awarded for performing, and Kim is simply being filmed living her life (staged as that may be).

She was friends with Paris Hilton. Once Paris got all famous for her sex tape, and got a tv show, Kim decided she wanted that fame too and made her own sex tape.
And once she got some bit of fame Ryan Seacrest decided her and her family needed their own tv show, and he needed more money, so he got them one and is an executive producer of their show.
If it wasn’t for Seacrest she may have faded away by now.
