I figure since this thread made the 5/10/2000 threadspotting entry on the Straight Dope main page, it makes sense to include Cecil’s third 5/6/2000 MPSIMS message he included in a thread titled “Any Takers on wheter aha will get Cecil to welcome him?” where he welcomed the majority of the people who are fortunate enough to claim to have been personally welcomed to this board by Cecil Adams (yours truly included).
