Gross things ingested on Fear Factor

What was the most disgusting item that contestants had to ingest? What effect did this have on you, the viewer?

If you were the producer of Fear Factor, what would you make contestants ingest?

I wouldn’t make them eat anything.

I hate that part of the shows. I’m not afraid to eat those things, I’m just disgusted, revolted. Fear has nothing to do with it.

I agree with Ivar. That is not scary, just plain disgusting. The producers really don’t seem to know the difference. Personally, I haven’t seen much of the show, but a lot of it seems to be bugs. That’s not so bad, but once I think they had to eat a whole raw fish, essentially. Intestines, brains, etc… To me, this is dangerous. There could easily be something in there that could make you very sick. Not to mention that one girl was allergic to fish and therefore lost immediatly, which to me is not very fair, because she seemed more than willing to eat it if it wouldn’t kill her.

Bull balls. I think only one person did eat those completely, but I dont remember. Next, that moldy cheese with maggots crawling on it–one guy threw it down & said that he refused to eat it cause they were stooping too low.

Not quite eaten, but the dead rats they had to pick up with their mouths was the grossest. Uggh, vermin!

I gotta say that the live slugs they ate last week grossed me out but pretty much anything that they make anyone eat is bad. I can do fear, I can’t eat gross. Pick it up in my mouth, okay; ingest, forget it.

The grossest thing I’ve seen were the half-gestated ducklings. They had to eat two straight from the egg.

Lumps of clotted cow blood, which they had to fish out of a plate of live earthworms with their mouths. I’m not joking. No one finished the stunt.

The absolute worst I saw on the show was the “Pizza”. Made with bile baked into the crust, blood sauce and rotten cheese and maggots and/or sheep’s eyeballs for the topping. I don’t know how many people made it through that stunt because I turned the channel as soon as I saw what they had to eat.
And don’t forget the cow’s noses complete with hair and nostrils. shudder
