Gruesome movie request: scenes with organ harvesting/vivsection?

Some of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies have scenes beyond the “slasher dismembering people with a weed whacker in a fight scene” type (which are also there, don’t get me wrong) where after capturing the victim, they go about doing stuff like removing the skin (skin’s an organ, so it fits the topic) or dressing the body (not necessarily dead when they start) like you would with game.

I don’t remember how graphic it was on screen, but Silence of the Lambs also had skin harvesting as a major part of the plot.

No, no! No blood in Plan 9, but Wizard is as bad of a movie. Comicaly bad.

THE BLACK CAT with Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff. There’s no gore, of course, everything happens off-screen, but there’s the wonderfully spooky scene with Karloff chained and helpless, and Lugosi saying he’s going to skin him alive

Silence of the Lambs has been mentioned, but a more gruesome example is its sequel, Hannibal. We get a disembowelment at one point in the film, but more appropriate to this thread is something near the end of the film Hannibal subdues and drugs Justice official Paul Krendler (played by Ray Liotta), and

surgically removes the top of his skull, cuts out a portion of Krendler’s brain, sautes it in front of him, and feeds it to Krendler.

Just the beginning of this scene, with the sound of the saw, sent Pepper Mill running out of the room. She didn’t come back until the movie was over.

The original DAY OF THE DEAD in which the gleefully-mad Military Base doctor has taken to experimenting on the zombies, including "re-"vivisection.

I haven’t seen it in decades but just ordered a multi-pack of horror DVDs that includes it- but I’m pretty sure BLOOD DINER may qualify. A more comedic remake of BLOOD FEAST, cultists assemble a woman from various parts to be the vessel for the Babylonian goddess Ishtar.

You asked (in part) for vivisection, so I offer Law Abiding Citizen, in which Gerard Butler’s character takes revenge on the man who murdered his family: the man is strapped down to a table and pumped full of adrenalin to keep him awake and alert for as long as possible while Butler’s character dismembers him with a power saw.

Edit: Here’s the scene.

It wasn’t so gross and gruesome, but the 1966 film The Frozen Dead gave us removed heads (still living) and a literal stockpile of arms. Here they are in action (I kid you not):

:smack: Sorry, I didn’t see the headline on your post, and thought you were referring to Plan 9.
