Now, I’m actually a big fan of this meme - cuteness and snark together! - but even I’m not sure I’d see this movie.

Maybe the comment about being Garfield-like means that they are just using Grumpy Cat’s likeness in a CGI cat without actually using her? From what I’ve heard, up until this point her owners have been pretty good about not disrupting her life too much, like only taking photos once a week. A movie set is bound to be stressful for her.

You probably could make a really good animated movie of Henri le Existential Chat Noir, though.

Somehow I don’t think internet memes make the best movie fodder.

But if they do make this they should get the girl who voiced Daria to be Grumpy Cat.
