I’m twice divorced, moved cross country to live with my father, and while I do not practice my chosen career anymore, I do use it to earn a living on a daily basis.
mine is still open also:
as for the others, the only one I am reasonably sure of is
whatsername (actress’ name is very greek) from **Providence ** (her dad was played by Mike Farrell)
more new ones (possibly very easy)
(any2) I walked out on my own wedding and moved in with my best friend from high school.
(any3) I live in the basement of my boss’ shop. The girl I pine for is seeing a very abusive man.
Possibly, but not the one I was thinking of.
Rachel Green from Friends.
I still have an open one:
I am the epitome of style and fashion. And etiquitte. I get my astonishigly good looks from my mother the baker and my grandmother the comedienne. Bite me!
Seymore Krelborne.
Oh, missed this one. Looks like Frasier Crane. Although…twice divorced? Did he marry Diane, and I missed it?
Registered because I couldn’t take it anymore!
Keiichi from Ah! My Goddess!
No, he didn’t marry Diane - He married a hippie long before hemet Diane. A flashback episode revealed this fact
I don’t know why, but I have a feeling you’re going for the exact opposite - so I’ll guess **Roseanne Conner **
still no guesses on
here’s another hint:
Excellent guess. But incorrect. You’re on the right track, though.
I can’t think of any other white trash characters whose mother and grandmother are integral to the plot
(any4) I am always striving to be more than I am, even tho I am already faster, stronger, and smarter than my colleagues. Frequently, they attempt to coach me so that I may achieve my goal, but invariably I do not “get it”.
They’re not integral. But they are huge clues.
This character might also say “I married a crossdresser.”
And here I thought you were just a big, fat, clown. Turns out I was right.
(Hi Mimi.)
AHAH! Mimi, from Drew Carey!
I need to come up with some more clues…much better at guessing. >_>
Bite me, pig.
The mother was a baker. Actually, a Bakker. As in Tammy Faye. The grandmother was Phyllis Diller. That’s some inspired casting right there.
If you keep guessing, I’ll keep coming up with clues.
Let’s see…
My sister loves me. Everyone loves her. If you love her, will you love me too? Don’t whisper your answer in my ear.
This post was not there when I started writing mine.
Stupid attempting to come up with a clue.
OK, here’s one…
I have a laundry list of phychological ‘issues’ - ranging from ADD to pyromania. My parents have a lively sex life despite my father’s physical infirmities. I suspect one of my brothers may be gay. The other definitely is not. My younger sister is the ‘normal’ one in the family. Relatively speaking, that is. (And with my relatives…) I was actually happy when my father lost his health insurrance.
I once took custody of a native. The law says I had to pay him for services rendered but he had no concept of money.
Haven’t seen the show, but I am guessing Alias…
Another hint
I’m an American, but I am working with an ex-KGB (who fucked us), an Irish girl, an American who’s a good driver, a frenchman (who turns out to be alright), and a wanker who claims to be ex-SAS. I ambushed him with a cup of coffee; got him off the team team before he could get me killed.
If you guys don’t get this one in another day, I’ll post the answer. I don’t want to give away too much more, because it’s a really damn good movie. You should see it, if you haven’t.
It’s been called the thinking man’s action movie.
