And, lo and behold, I live in the Northwest.
Like you, I live in the Northwest.
Well, well, well, it got it right.
Nope…not even close on mine. I live in the Southeast.
Like SilkyThreat, I too had my true location placed in 4th. Since I can’t vote (and meet a few other requirements for the questions) I may have skewed the results.
I wish, but nope. Midwest.
The Northwest
The Midwest
The Southwest
The Southeast The Northeast
Mine is accurate. I even lived in the midwest before moving here.
**# 1 The Midwest
It had me off. Currently in the Southeast, grew up in the Northeast and returning there.
I guess we’re stastically different, as a group.
Is Colorado the Southwest or the Midwest?
Those were two and one for me.
TV
Ummm… Nope… #5.
It got it right, as to the first answer. I have also lived in the Midwest.
The important part is the weight that you give each answer. If you didn’t answer this part of the quiz you would probably never be identified, unless you were sterotypical (sp?).
Oops, posted too soon, well of course it isn’t even close, since I live in Canada and all ;).
Way wrong. I live in Atlanta. I think the Baptist/Protestant questions are part of what threw it off, since I’m Catholic.
Correct. I live in claremont, east of L.A. The air pollution question probably helped.
It put my real location (Southeast) last of all. (Probably because of my college education and lack of air pollution in my area.) It guessed Southwest first of all, which is nice 'cause I like New Mexico but I’ve never lived there.
I live in Northern Virginia, which is a very anomalous part of the country. It’s the least “Southern” part of the South. It has the highest level of education in the country. There’s no way a statistical guess could ever pinpoint NoVa, without being finely tuned enough.

Wrong, wrong wrong. I live in the Southeast, but I guess I think like a Yankee
I live in the Southeast. Judging from the results so far in this thread, it seems the criteria for selecting the Southeast is a little off. Not everyone who lives here is Baptist/Protestant. For example, the town I live in is probably equally split between Protestand and Catholic–mostly because of a large migrant farm worker population.
Nope - I live in the Southeast.
Way, way off:
In fact, I live in the Southeast, grew up in the Northeast (if Washington, DC counts … the south it certainly ain’t), and have probably spent a grand total of three weeks west of the Mississippi.
