Well, [bTaters**, you have the strength of will not to play WoW all the time. Some can resist the pull, the siren song of the computer. Others falter in determination, and end up glued to the game for weeks. I married a gamer. I wouldn’t want to tempt him that much.
Also, Driving Husband and Lazy Husband would never leave. Lazy Husband has been known to spend weeks in the basement doing nothing but playing a particularly good video game. I love them both very much, but it’s nice that they go home sometimes.
Finally, cable internet isn’t in the budget for at least another six months.
I have an actual doctor’s excuse, Mr. ChaoticBear, sir. Monday I got the Migraine from Hell (my sister does like to x-mas shop early), which made me tense up so much I ouchied every muscle from the top of my noggin to my elbows. Which made my head hurt, which made me tense up-- rinse, repeat.
So friday I broke down and went to one of those urgent care places and after standing for three hours I was finally seen by a doctor and got some medicine that almost makes me feel okay for about fifteen minutes at a time. Ouch. It seems my fifteen minutes is up. And I didn’t even get any fame to go with it!
We had a nice thanksgiving, though the tur-duc-ken (we re-named it the ‘turd’ for short) was a bit dry. We ate out in the Arizona room by the pool since it was a lovely 60-some degrees. So I guess there’s one or two good things about living in the desert.
A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all who needs it!
[sup]I really miss the MMP at work. Stupid security filter[/sup]
**Ashes…! ** Come back…we’ve missed you! (Can you break the security filter?) Isn’t it just a tad ironic that a school would block a site dedicated to fighting ignorace?
Sorry about the migraine - that sounds awful.
It’s been warm here too. I think it made it to 60 today and is supposed to be around 70 tomorrow. Of course, this is not doing me any good as there are still leaves on the ground decomposing and I’m still allergic to them. I wish they’d round up all the leaves AND that it would get and stay cold long enough to kill all the stuff that makes me cough.
Ran a bunch of errands this afternoon and am now in bed, lazily about to continue the journey through Harry Potter 4.
